Care Assistant - Learning Disabilities

We’re looking for Support Workers in the Chapel en le Frith area, as a Care Assistant you will be playing a fundamental part in improving vulnerable people’s lives through the care and support that you provide. You will be supporting people who have varying needs and abilities but include; learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health conditions.

Covering: Chapel en le Frith, SK23.

Are you the person who can support our individuals day to day to live independently in their own home whilst promoting a safe, healthy and secure living environment? Your skills will lie in your ability to interact, build  relationships and support our individuals in all aspects of their daily life which could include; accompanying them on their holidays, social events, interacting with families and friends to encourage relationships and social development.

Some of our individuals who live in our supported living homes, have the capability to lead and live independent lives, your support will be to help enable them to maintain their independence and live their best life. The role may include elements of personal care.

Role Highlights:

• Shifts patterns consist of 24 hours, block pay - Wednesday nights.
• £11.50 per hour dependent on experience and positions available 
• We can consider both drivers and non drivers

Key Requirements: 

• Previous UK experience
• You will be subject to a DBS/PVG check and references
• The Right to Work in the UK
