Hours: 35 per week

The role

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Contracts Manager to join our Oldham repairs team.

In this role you will ensure the properties within the Oldham PFI remain safe, secure, comply with all legislative requirements and works are completed on time and to budget.

You will also oversee the effective management, planning and programming of reactive repairs, void works, compliance and planned maintenance delivered by a range of contractors.

What we’re looking for:

  • A professional knowledge and/or experience of contract procurement
  • Demonstrable experience and proven track record of managing contractors and contracts
  • Experience of working together with external suppliers to solve problems
  • Ability to conduct independent investigations, to spot and highlight areas of concern and suggest solutions
  • Financial management and budgetary control techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of software and data packages
  • Experience of managing processes
  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience
