Role Specific Responsibilities:
- Ensure void periods are minimised in accordance with the Allocations Policy by carrying out pre/post void inspections; arranging for works to be carried out and former tenants recharged where necessary.
- Conduct viewings for prospective tenants and maintain a waiting list for the scheme.
- Support the scheme Lettings Panel including arranging and servicing regular panel meetings, liaising with members concerning the prioritising of applicants.
- Carry out tenant assessments to ensure eligibility including affordability as well as liaising with the Domiciliary Care Manager where necessary.
- Conduct the sign-up process for new tenants, liaise with Finance regarding rent and service charges and maintain accurate tenancy records.
- Conduct weekly routine & monthly comprehensive scheme inspections.

- You will be expected to travel to our other sites for meetings, training etc as reasonably required by your line manager.
Education & Qualifications:
- CIH qualification desirable and/or housing management experience in the voluntary, public or private sectors.
- This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure with a check of the adults barred list from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- First Aid certificate, Fire Safety (training can be given).
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Working knowledge of housing benefit and other welfare benefits.
- Good understanding of the regulatory role of the HCA Excellent understanding of the needs of older people living in a supported housing environment, in line with best practice.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Knowledge of General Data Protection Act and how to implement.
