You'll also be in charge of leading the OT team to make sure that the group program runs smoothly and that individual patients and their families receive the support they need.
Here are some of the key things you'll be responsible for:
- Ensure familiarity with the Occupational Therapy Pathway at Newbridge House.
- Ensuring own ability to carry out and supervise others to carry out the range of occupational therapy assessments, interventions and group work.
- Working with patients to identify occupational therapy goals as part of the overall care plan.
- Planning and implementing individual and/or group interventions, in collaboration with the patient, using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Monitoring and evaluating treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of the intervention.
- ?Ensure that up to date electronic records and activity data are maintained
- ?Delegate work as appropriate to OT team, monitor, review and provide additional support and training as required
- Provide clinical supervision
- Oversee the use of and recording of the OT budget.
