We are seeking an inspiring leader for an Operations Manager position within a Care & Wellbeing service in Liverpool.

Position: Operations Manager
Location: Liverpool
Job type: Permanent, full-time - 37.5hr per week
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum

About the role:

As an Operations Manager, you will motivate, inspire, and organise your team to deliver exceptional care. You will provide leadership and direction, supporting your team and Care Workers to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:

Leading People and Teams:

  • Engage, inspire, and motivate your team
  • Ensure colleagues are supported and trained to deliver high-quality care and quality assurance activities
  • Implement HR support, guidance
  • Maintain transparency and seek advice from the central support and senior management teams

Managing Services:

  • Oversee the growth and success of the service, including implementing recruitment and retention strategies
  • Plan, schedule, and review workloads and capacity to ensure targets are met cost-effectively
  • Drive quality assurance activities, maintain compliance targets, and proactively prevent issues
  • Implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Develop relationships with commissioners
  • Communicate effectively and timely with care teams
  • Establish relationships with the people supported, their families, colleagues, and external partners

About You:

While a background in care is not required, strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. As well as exceptional communication and demonstrable managerial experience. You will also need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Values-driven leadership that enables people and teams to perform to high standards
  • Experience of managing services, planning effectively with strong organisation skills, resourcing, and contingency planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to innovate, implement robust solutions and continuously improve.
  • Collaboration and a desire to work in partnership with colleagues and externally with commissioners, health and social care teams and local community groups.

You will be required to register as the manager with CQC. Full support will be given to achieve this within 6 months.
