NEW Retirement Housing Assistant Opportunity in Glasgow!
Bield have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Retirement Housing Assistant to join the team in Glasgow. Westland Court provide a Retirement Housing service to tenants, aged 60 and over, who wish to retain their independence and the right person will help make this possible. You will benefit from daytime work and great work life balance.
At this development you will be working within a positive and friendly work environment with support from Manager, Area Manager and other local Development Managers who help colleagues achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will undertake a range of cleaning duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.
On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/ or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.
Hours of employment are 16 hours per week organised as follows:
Monday, 10.00 am - 2.00 pm
Tuesday - Friday, 11.00 am - 2.00 pm

Role Requirements:

An interest in working with older people and an understanding of their needs is essential. Although relevant experience in a similar post is also desirable, it is not essential as induction and training will be provided.
