Discover a rewarding career at Apex Prime Care as a Senior Care Assistant for our Extra Care service in Aldershot and surrounding areas.
Extra Care units offer residents their own self contained living space within a larger building, with access to care staff who are based within the unit and who provide care to each resident. As a care assistant at our Extra Care Unit, you will be supporting residents, who all have varying needs to live as independently as possible, with personalised care and support plans in place.
Every client's needs are different. You may assist with a bit of housework or help with getting up in the morning. A tasty hot meal and a listening ear. A hand with medication or getting washed and dressed. But more than this, our carers become friends, providing human company, encouragement and maybe a laugh or two, often when life has become a bit tough. Caring isn’t always easy, but a lot of people and their families will be grateful that you were there for them.
The stated rate of pay is for Care Assistants with a driving licence and own vehicle and includes mileage and travel time in the hourly rate. Those on walking rota’s will receive an adjusted pay rate.
