Support Worker – SY2, Shrewsbury

£12.35 Per Hour + £50 Per Sleep-in
22.5–37.5 Hours • UK Manual Driver Required

You’ll support four adults (two men and two women in their 30s) with cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, autism and learning disabilities across three homes located within a two-minute walk. Support includes 1:1 work, personal care for one lady, mobility support for one electric wheelchair user, medication for three people, and monitoring dysphagia for one person.
Shifts include 8am–4pm, 4pm–10pm, 8am–10pm long days and sleep-ins (10pm–8am).

You bring patience, humour and flexibility, and feel confident supporting different needs across multiple settings. Experience is desirable but not essential. A manual driving licence is required.

It’s a friendly, laid-back home where people enjoy dance sessions, football matches, sports village activities, community groups and one lady who loves tattoos and piercings. Families are highly involved and relationships within the home are strong.
