What does this Care Assistant job involve?

Hours of Work:Up to Full Time Hours - Shifts: Between 07:00 - 22:00 - Flexible Provider
 

Some general responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and emotional support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and medication management
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and provide companionship and socialisation
• Accompany clients to appointments and on outings
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and family members as needed
• Document daily activities and any changes in the client's health or behaviour in the client's care plan

Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?

• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• This role requires a successful DBS check
• A calm and caring manner
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate
• Compassionate and patient personality with a positive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
