Care Assistant

Here are some of the key things you'll be responsible for:

• Support service users with activities of daily living including mealtimes, continence support, dressing, personal care.
• Work within the Health and Safety policies in accordance with Schoen Clinic guidelines;
• Demonstrate awareness of safeguarding principles in all dealings with service users and their families 
• Complete all relevant paperwork as required and without delay, including reporting incidents where appropriate.
• Provide compassionate and quality led care during activities.

Skills & requirements

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, with an NVQ level 2 in health and social care or equivalent length of experience and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.Working within a healthcare setting is essential however working within dementia is not as we will provide you with a full robust induction. You must also have an understanding of the mental health act, mental capacity act, safeguarding of patients and human rights.
