Care Support Worker

Jaffray Care is a Registered Charity established in 1991. We are a progressive care provider offering a relaxed, homely environment for adults with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, with good CQC ratings across all areas.  The role of the Care Support Worker is an integral and valued part of the organisation, based around assisting clients to reach their full potential and live a varied and meaningful life.  

We are looking for caring, passionate, enthusiastic, motivated individuals who are committed to making a difference to people lives. Good communication skills and reliability is essential.

The post is multi-role, therefore, all aspects of household duties will be carried out, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening and shopping. You will be encouraged to involve clients in these daily activities where appropriate.

Shift patterns are 12 hours. Day Shifts 8.00am - 8.00pm, Waking Night Shifts 8.00pm - 8.00am. Full Time Contracts tend to be on a rota basis of three shifts one week, four shifts the following week to include alternative weekends however flexibility is required due to the needs of the Service.

An enhanced DBS check is required, with the cost met by the employee.
