SRG Healthcare is seeking an experienced Care Home Chef to join our team on a bank contract basis in Laverstock, Salisbury. You’ll play a key role in preparing nutritious and appetising meals for residents, supporting their health and wellbeing in a care home environment.
About the Role:
Prepare and cook meals in line with dietary requirements
Support residents with special diets (e.g., soft foods, diabetic-friendly)
Ensure food hygiene and health & safety standards are upheld
Work closely with care staff to deliver a positive mealtime experience
Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and compliant with regulations

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a care home or similar setting
Food Hygiene Level 2 (minimum) – must be up to date
Knowledge of dietary needs for elderly/vulnerable individuals
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
