Setting: Established, 3-bed LD Home.

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join a well-established Children’s Home in Milton Keynes. This 3-bedded home provides a safe, nurturing environment for children with learning difficulties, and we are seeking a dedicated leader to uphold and enhance the home’s high standards of care.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and all regulatory frameworks.
Lead, inspire, and develop a skilled and compassionate team to deliver outstanding care.
Ensure the delivery of individualised care plans that meet the emotional, educational, and social needs of the children.
Promote a positive culture, where children feel valued, supported, and empowered.
Drive continuous improvement, ensuring the home meets and exceeds Ofsted’s "Good" or "Outstanding" standards.
Manage safeguarding processes and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Work collaboratively with families, external agencies, and professionals to achieve the best outcomes for the children.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
Strong understanding of learning difficulties and the specific care approaches required.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
A passion for delivering exceptional care and improving the lives of vulnerable children.
Comprehensive knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and safeguarding protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
