Female Support Worker – Christchurch
Part-Time (20 hours per week averaged over a two-week rolling rota)
£12.52 per Hour
Full UK/EU Driving License Essential

Dimensions is seeking FemaleSupport Workers to make a meaningful difference to two ladies we support in Christchurch by empowering their independence and supporting them to lead fulfilled lives.
We are able to accept applications for part-time Female Support Workers. (Shift patters are; week 1, 08.00-15.00 Mon and 13.00-20.00 Sat and week 2; 08.00-20.00 Sat and 08.00-20.00 & Sleep-In. Payrate £12.52 per hour. Sleep-in shifts are paid at an allowance of £45 per shift).
The ladies we support are in their 60’s. One has learning disabilities and the other Down’s Syndrome and a learning disability. The ladies both enjoy days full of activities and would like to meet Female Support Workers who can support them to:
- Going to Fresh Outlook on Tuesdays (activity club where bowling, bowls and arts & crafts happen)
- Trips to Littledown leisure centre to go swimming
- Going out in their cars
- Trips to the beach
- Heading into town to go shopping
- Helping to organise long weekends away
- Looking after their pet rabbit
Female Support Workers will also support the ladies by assisting with day-to-day tasks (which include – but are not limited to – finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
The ladies would like you to know that they use wheelchairs to be mobile. One at all times, the other when out of the house.
As these ladies have their own vehicles it is essential all Female Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Driving License.
