Female Support Worker, Upper Parkstone
Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
£12.52 per hour

A lady who Dimensions support at her supported living home in Upper Parkstone,Poole would like some new Female Support Workers to join the team who enable her to live an independent life.
The lady who is aged in her 30s, has learning disabilities and can exhibit behaviours of distress. She would be happy to meet either full-time Female Support Workers who would like to get involved in the things she enjoys such as:
- Visiting Bournemouth Oceanarium and going to zoo’s
- Watching TV and telling stories using her sign language
- Going out for meals in local pubs, cafes and restaurants
- Sensory activities in the house
- Spending time in the garden
- Getting to and from day centre
This lady would like you to know uses a wheelchair when out of the house but as you can see it doesn’t stop her living an active life.
Shifts run 07.00-14.30 or 14.30-22.00. There are also long days available. Dimensions can pay Female Support Workers £12.52 per hour.
Support Workers may also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and prompt and assist the ladies with their personal care.
Although you do not need previous experience for this role, as Dimensions provide full training (both theory and practical) to all Support Workers.
