  • Salary: £12.64 per hour

Bored of eating your way through that tub of Quality Street? Maybe it’s time to unwrap something more meaningful this Christmas, a new role where you can make a real difference.

At Dimensions UK, we believe everyone deserves the chance to live a fulfilling life, with choice and control. We’re proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work for the seventh year running in 2025 – one of very few social care organisations to achieve this. See #wearedimensions or @dimensionsUK to find out why.

This Christmas and New Year, we’re looking for Female Support Workers to join our supported living home in Hemel Hempstead. You’ll be supporting one woman to live the life she chooses – active, independent, and present in her community.

She loves yoga, dancing, swimming, and heading out for coffee and cake. You’ll be by her side as she enjoys the things that make her happy, while also supporting with daily living skills, personal care, mobility, and medication. Most importantly, you’ll help her stay present to the people and places that matter most.

This is a lone-working role, with shifts from 8am–10pm including sleep-ins, and a requirement to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Whether you’re new to support work or bring experience, we’ll give you all the training you need including the Care Certificate, paid learning opportunities, and financial bonuses for completing awards and diplomas.

Why Choose Dimensions?

We offer a sector-leading colleague benefits package worth up to £1,220 per year, including:

  • Sleep-in payments of £50 (in addition to basic pay).
  • Competitive salary.
  • Paid training and development.
  • Funded Care Certificate.
  • Salary advance scheme – access earned pay before payday.
  • Discounts on shopping, days out, and access to the Blue Light Card.
  • £500 bonus for referring a friend.

So, while you’re polishing off the last mince pie, why not apply for a role that will make 2026 truly rewarding? Join Dimensions UK and start the year knowing you’re part of something bigger – a values-led organisation where people come first.
