Home Care Assistant – Temporary (Potential to Go Permanent) – Carlisle, Cumbria

Hourly Rate: £13.50 weekdays | £20.00 bank holidays
Contract Type: Temporary (with the potential to go permanent – not guaranteed)
Hours: Around 20 hours per week (overtime available)
Shift Patterns: Between 7:00 am – 10:00 pm, including alternate weekends
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our care team, you’ll:

Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes

Assist with medication administration (training provided)

Support mobility and use equipment safely where needed

Promote clients’ well-being and independence

Keep accurate care records and communicate effectively with your team

Work flexibly across a range of shifts to suit your lifestyle

What We Offer

£13.50 per hour (weekday rate)

£20.00 per hour on bank holidays

Weekly pay (Fridays)

Paid mileage and travel time

About You

We’re looking for caring, motivated individuals who are:

Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated

Excellent communicators with a positive attitude

Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle

Experience in care is helpful but not essential – full training is provided
