Salary: £11.50 per hour
Location: Vera James, Ely, CB6 1TA
Job Type: Part time- 35 Hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Housekeeper for our care home in Ely.

You will be in charge of undertaking cleaning in areas as directed, to ensure the communal rooms are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

Duties of a Housekeeper:

General housekeeping, observing high standards, and ensuring the home is clean.
Take pride in the environment and be an ambassador for how the home is presented.
Follow instructions from the Head Housekeeper as to daily schedules of cleaning.
Responsible for a set of keys and for ensuring the security of areas of cleaning.
Assist with managing the laundry; ensuring clothing is returned to the correct resident in a timely manner
Follow strict infection control measures and comply with COSHH regulations
Identify and report any concerns regarding faulty equipment, maintenance issues, or environmental hazards such as slip or trip concerns
Be aware of safeguarding practices and responsibilities around reporting concerns, including whistle-blowing procedures.
