Male Support Worker

  • Full time or part time hours considered.
  • New Southgate, N11 1JQ
  • Experience Essential, Progression to Lead Support Worker Possible

Are you an experienced support worker ready to take the next step in your career? Dimensions UK is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our day team at a supported living home in New Southgate, London.

You’ll be supporting four adults aged 60–70 who have learning disabilities and complex health needs. This includes personal care, mobility assistance (including hoisting and wheelchair use), and support with meals. Three individuals follow a pureed diet, and we’ll provide full training to ensure dietary needs are met with confidence and care.

This is a varied and fulfilling role where every day brings something new. You’ll help people enjoy their weekly routines whether it’s listening to music, attending church, going shopping, or sharing a meal out. We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic about expanding these opportunities and supporting people to live life to the fullest.

We’re seeking someone with experience in care, healthcare, supported living or residential settings. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret both verbal and non-verbal cues, including gestures and objects of reference. One individual receives 1:1 support due to behaviours of distress, so confidence in supporting complex needs is key.

You’ll also need to be comfortable using digital tools. Our team uses online systems to manage tasks and record daily notes, so confidence with IT is important.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s passionate about making a difference and keen to grow within the care sector. With the right experience and mindset, there’s real potential to step into a Lead Support Worker role in the future.

What we offer:

  • Competitive pay
  • Paid training and development, including access to recognised qualifications
  • Clear career progression pathways
  • A supportive team culture and 24/7 wellbeing support
  • Paid DBS and a generous holiday allowance

If you’re committed to person-centred support and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help us support people to live the life they choose.
