Residential Childcare Workers

Nr Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire

Hours: part-time - 19.25 hrs or full-time 38.5 hrs pw

Salary: £28,090 - £30,933 pro rata per year (this includes minimal sleepover pay, with the potential for an additional £1,650 and overtime at £17.00)

We’re looking for a Residential Childcare Worker to join our established team near Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire. What you can expect from us:

· After 6 months you’ll be encouraged to complete your SCQF 7 or HNC or further qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Experience in a residential or care setting or personal/lived experience and the right attitude to make a real impact
A calm, supportive presence, even in challenging situations
Flexibility and strong communication skills
A full UK driving licence
A willingness to support our young people with day-to-day tasks, activities, medication, and community outings
A qualification in Health & Social Care (SCQF 7/SVQ 3 or HNC) — or the willingness to work towards it (with our full support)
