Job Title: Care Officer    
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,965.41 per annum (£27,112.48 per annum is achieved after 18 months successful performance in the role)
Working Hours: 37.5 Per Week
Working Pattern: working shifts Monday to Sunday between 7am - 10pm including weekends and bank holidays
Location: Laurel Court - Huddersfield, Kirklees

Working collaboratively to engage and empower the care team to deliver an outstanding service with compassion, respect and dignity, always putting the customer first. You will work with customers to maintain independence, supporting customers with a person-centred approach

About you

We are looking for someone with:

Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Strong communication skills, able to listen and communicate clearly, encourage feedback and reflection, able to empower and motivate a team to deliver improvements
Competent computer skills
Experience of organising and planning tasks
Able to use initiative with the confidence to make and act on decisions
Good awareness of CQC standards
Health and social care qualification or accredited equivalent and/or evidence of continuing professional development
