Dimensions are a leading not-for-profit provider of support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Support Workers in Weymouth will work with one gentleman, who has learning disabilities and autism, at his home. You will empower the independence of the gentleman we support by enabling him to live the life that he chooses.
The gentleman we support is in his twenties. He is really active and would enjoy to meet Support Workers who are happy to:
- Take him swimming and dancing – he won’t always choose to go but when he does he loves it
- Support him to do his art at home
- Get involved when he goes out and about on his trike
- Go to West Bay and other local beauty spots with him for ice cream
- Take in the local area on long walks
- Help him with his photography
- Assist him to see his family, who are really involved in his support
As you can see this man lives an exciting life! He would be happy to meet a full-time Support Workers. Shifts at run from 07.30 with some finishing at 20.00 and others at 22.00, Support Workers will also have to undertake 2 sleep-in shifts per week. Dimensions are able to offer a payrate of £12.52 per hour (sleep-in shifts are paid at an allowance of £50 per sleep).
Support Workers may also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and personal care.
