This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that values individuality, promotes independence, and supports people to live life their way.

About the People You’ll Be Supporting

The people we support range in age from 18 to mid-50s and have a variety of needs including learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. They are largely independent and do not currently require personal care or moving and handling support.

Support is focused on prompting and encouragement, helping individuals maintain their independence and enjoy their day-to-day lives.

Interests of the People We Support

The individuals enjoy:

  • Shopping and meals out
  • Cinema trips and bingo nights
  • Days out to the seaside, theme parks, and the zoo
  • Walking and going to the gym
  • Parties and spending time with family and friends

With such a wide range of interests, every day is different – and full of opportunities to make a difference.

Your Role

You’ll be supporting individuals with:

  • Meal planning and cooking
  • Maintaining their tenancy
  • Cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
  • Budgeting and managing finances
  • Shopping and attending appointments
  • Online safety and digital support
  • Building and maintaining relationships

Shift Patterns

  • Early shifts: 7:30am – 3pm
  • Late shifts: 3pm - 10:30pm
  • Alternate weekends required
  • No sleep-in shifts required

Rotas are planned in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking Support Workers who are:

  • Confident and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude
  • Empathetic and patient, with a person-centred approach
  • Team players, who also feel confident working independently
  • Flexible and proactive, ready to support a variety of needs
  • Non-drivers welcome – no mobility vehicles currently in use

Experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
