About the role

• Support Worker
• Full time – 37.5 Hours per week.
• Haverhill, Suffolk.

We’re recruiting three full time Support Workers to join our friendly team in Haverhill, where you’ll support eight adults aged between 30 and 80 to live independently in their own supported living flats. Every day is different, and your role will involve providing a mix of 1:1 and occasional 2:1 support based on individual needs.

You’ll help people enjoy the things that matter most to them, from days out and social events to spending time with friends, family, and the local community.

In this role, you’ll support people with:

• Trips to favourite places such as the zoo, parks, sensory rooms, town visits, long walks, and community events.
• Attending church on Saturdays or planning holidays.
• Social activities such as discos, celebrations, or visiting friends.
• Menu planning, shopping, meal preparation, and encouraging healthy choices.
• Personal care (ranging from prompting to full support).
• Safe administration of medication, including oral medication.

This role requires flexibility as shifts will vary, including early, late, and weekend shifts. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring that each person has choice, independence, and opportunities to enjoy the things they love.

About you

• Comfortable working flexibly across all eight supported living flats.
• Local to Haverhill or able to commute reliably.
• Happy to get involved in a wide range of activities, routines, and interests.
