2. About the Role
Provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Support clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, medication prompts, and light housekeeping.
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients through companionship and person-centred care, helping to promote independence and well-being.
Maintain accurate care records, report any changes in client condition, and adhere to health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
3. Key Duties
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care and companionship in clients’ homes
Supporting with mobility, medication prompts, and daily living tasks
Maintaining accurate care records and upholding confidentiality
Promoting independence and well-being at all times
4. Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
Qualifications:
Must be a driver with a full UK driving licence, access to own vehicle, and valid car insurance
Ability to deliver person-centred care with compassion, dignity, and respect
Previous experience in domiciliary care / home care / community support is desirable but we welcome anyone with no experience.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Adult & Child Workforce, Health & Social Care) or willing to take an enhanced DBS check with us.
Skills:
Strong communication and excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
Good digital literacy; comfortable using care planning systems, electronic care records, and office software.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle for local visits across Oxfordshire.
