Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism

We are looking for experienced, compassionate, resilient and flexible support workers to join our Dimensions Team in the NE5 and NE6 areas of Newcastle

In this role you will provide support across different homes and locations to provide high quality care and support to adults with a range of needs including learning disabilities, Autism and complex needs and physical disabilities.

As a key member of our team, you will step in to provide support and continuity of care for up to 8 people we support within their own homes, ensuring everyone receives person-centred support that fully promotes their independence, dignity and well being.

The person-centred support provided will include varying elements of personal care and daily living skills, understanding and managing complex behaviours of distress, promoting community involvement and participation and supporting the development of meaningful relationships and experiences.

You must be able to work flexibly across different locations and feel confident to adapt to varied environments and levels of support.

We are looking for someone who is: -

  • Compassionate, reliable and adaptable
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work across different locations within Newcastle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in Social Care support (preferred but not essential as full training is provided)
  • Driver preferred - holder of a valid UK driving licence (manual but willing to drive automatic)

  • Following all support plans and risk management documentation
