- Hourly rate: £12.31 per hour
- Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week (waking nights)
Waking night shifts will begin after your 12-week induction period or earlier depending on your individual training plan. During induction and training, you’ll be expected to work daytime hours.

We’re looking for a reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Hellesdon, Norfolk supporting four individuals, three ladies and one gentleman, who live together in a supported living home.
Your role will vary, two people will require your full support with personal care, feeding, and mobility. One lady has complex health needs and uses a wheelchair with hoisting support. Two ladies use walkers or wheelchairs when out and about. The gentleman is fairly independent and enjoys shopping, walking, football, and trips to the seaside. All four enjoy in house interests such as arts and crafts, puzzle games, and watching films especially Mrs Brown’s Boys. They also love going out together as a group, recently visiting the Royal Norfolk Show.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll be a calm and reassuring presence overnight, supporting with personal care, repositioning, and health needs, while helping prepare the home for the day ahead. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team, with rota patterns planned six weeks in advance. The night shift runs from 9pm to 7am, with alternate weekends or one in three, depending on the rota.
No previous experience is needed; we’ll provide full training and ongoing support. What matters most is your ability to support people, work in a person-centred way, and bring reliability to the role.
