About Dimensions

You’ll make everyday matter for the people you support, helping them learn, grow, and live life their way. At Dimensions, we’ll make everyday matter for you too, with wellbeing support, flexibility, and a caring team. Through Inspiring People Awards and Dimensions Academy, we celebrate your contribution and help you thrive – because when you can be you, everyone benefits.

About the role

  • Waking Night Support Worker – 36 Hours per week
  • Shifts: 8pm–8am (3 nights per week)
  • Metheringham, Lincoln, LN4

?If you’re looking for a role where your presence truly matters, where calm nights and gentle reassurance make a meaningful difference, this will feel like home. You’ll be supporting two ladies and two gentlemen, all in their 50s and 60s, who share their supported living home.

Your nights will be mostly lone working. While the house sleeps, you’ll provide safe, compassionate support, always at the pace of the people who live here, always in a way that honours their independence and dignity.

You’ll offer full personal care to three people, including stoma care for one person, and gentle monitoring of anyone who may need reassurance through the night. You’ll also support epilepsy care, dysphagia guidance, and general overnight wellbeing.

Daytimes in this home are full of joy, cinema trips, meals out, concerts, pub outings, holidays, theatre visits, church music, and time with family. Your consistent nighttime support ensures they can embrace these days feeling rested, comfortable, and ready to enjoy what they love most.

This is a role where you become part of their routine, their comfort, and their sense of security.

About you

Experience isn’t essential, what matters is your compassion, your presence, and your ability to stay calm and attentive throughout the night. You’ll be person-centred in everything you do, able to listen with patience and support people with complex healthcare needs respectfully and confidently.

You’ll respond gently to individual communication styles, two people use spoken words, while one communicates through sounds, gestures, and body language.

Most importantly, you will be someone who brings warmth into the quiet hours, who understands the privilege of being trusted in someone’s home, and who believes that small acts of support can shape someone’s entire day.
