Weekend Support Worker / Care Worker

This carer will work exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, providing high-quality, person-centred care during daytime hours through to the final evening call at 9pm.

Your role will involve:

• Supporting clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication prompts, and light housekeeping
• Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship and attentive, compassionate care
• Maintaining accurate care records and following all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures

As a Weekend Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and companionship in clients’ homes on Saturdays and Sundays
• Supporting with mobility, medication prompts, and daily living tasks
• Maintaining accurate care notes and upholding confidentiality
• Promoting independence, dignity, and well-being at all times
• Travelling between client visits across Oxfordshire during your weekend shift window

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must be a driver with a full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and valid business insurance
• Ability to deliver person-centred care with compassion, dignity, and respect
• Previous experience in domiciliary / home care is desirable, but applicants with no prior care experience are welcome
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete one with us

• Strong communication skills, excellent organisation, and time-management abilities
• Good digital literacy; comfortable using electronic care records and care planning systems
