We are looking for a confident Acting Night Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You'll be working 42 hours a week, 12 hour shifts, including every other weekend, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Outwood. You will work some shifts as a support worker, and some as an acting senior, running the shift, allocating duties, giving medication and supporting staff and management in the running of the service.

Your rate of pay for support worker starts at £12.60, for Night Senior Shifts it is £13.78

Located in Horsforth, a charming village in the suburbs of Leeds, Outwood is a specialist residential service for adults. We provide outcome focused care for individuals with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.

Your day-to-day as an acting senior support worker…

• Medication
• Allocation of duties
• Demonstrating best practice
• Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
• Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
