Join our growing team in Sheffield as an Assistant Locality Manager and support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex health needs in living their best lives.

Salary and Schedule

  • Annual Salary: £31,463.34, including a basic salary of £28,884.61 plus an additional 10% annual allowance for 22.5 hours off rota (£2888.46).
  • Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with 37.5 hours per week. You will spend 22.5 hours in the office and be required to be on call. The role includes working flexibly on the rota that covers days, sleepovers, waking nights, and weekends.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and Inspire: Work alongside the Locality Manager to motivate your team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that aligns with Dimensions' values and standards
  • Collaborate: Build strong relationships with relatives and external agencies such as health professionals, social workers, and advocates to meet the unique needs of the people we support.
  • Manage and Plan: Oversee service budgets, recruit new team members, and manage person-centred rotas to ensure efficient and effective support.
  • Be a Role Model: Lead by example, setting a positive tone and demonstrating best practices in all aspects of care and support.
  • Hands-On Support: Continue to provide direct support during your on-rota hours, keeping you connected with the rewarding aspects of your work.

  • Experience: Proven track record in supporting individuals with learning disabilities & autism,
  • Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, delegate responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date with the personalisation agenda and Active Support provision.
  • Personality: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with the people we support, their families, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Commitment: Willingness to work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management for Care Services.
