About the Team Leader Role

You will lead and motivate a team of support workers to provide a safe, caring, and positive home for children with complex needs. Your role requires residential childcare experience and a Level 3 qualification (or willingness to get one). The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong leadership skills and a passion for helping young people thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience in residential childcare or a similar setting
✔ Leadership or supervisory experience within a care environment
✔ A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare 
✔ Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
✔ Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
✔ Passion for making a positive impact in young people’s lives

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Leading and supporting a team of residential support workers
✅ Ensuring the highest standard of care for children and young people
✅ Promoting independence, emotional well-being, and social development
✅ Overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and daily records
✅ Managing safeguarding concerns and responding appropriately
✅ Supporting staff development through training, guidance, and supervision
✅ Working closely with external professionals and families
