We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team, ensuring the provision of safe, person-centred care for our residents. What will your typical day involve?

  • Providing high-quality nursing care, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and best practices.
  • Leading and supervising staff, offering guidance and support to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Working closely with the Unit Manager and Deputy Unit Manager, assisting with staffing, clinical practices, and day-to-day operations.
  • Supporting residents and their families, fostering strong relationships and ensuring person-centred care.
  • Administering and managing medications in line with best practice and regulatory standards.
  • Ensuring effective communication across teams, promoting a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Mentoring and training team members to support their professional growth and development.
  • Upholding and promoting Jewish cultural practices, including dietary rules, religious observances, and end-of-life care.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for providing high-quality care in a nursing or residential setting.

Essential requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Level 2 (NMC registered).
  • Strong knowledge of current best practices in elderly care.
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising teams in a care setting.
  • Confidence in managing emergency situations, providing reassurance and guidance to residents and staff.
  • Ability to motivate and develop staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
  • Effective communication skills, ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
  • IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Hours

37.5 hours a week on a rota, with a mixture of days, nights and weekends.

Salary Scale

From £43,446 per annum (37.5 hours)
