Support worker

Our offer to you: 

Location: Dorchester 

Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week 

Pay Scale: Days £12.02 to £12.28; Nights £13.05 to £13.37 

Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide high-quality care and support to people in the setting. 
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, and daily living tasks. 
• Build strong, positive relationships with people, promoting their independence and well-being. 
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a safe, compassionate environment. 
• Record and report any changes in the people' needs or conditions. 

About You: 

• Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing excellent care. 
• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. 
• A strong team player with good communication skills. 
• Flexible to work either days or nights, depending on the needs of the service.

Induction sessions occur every two weeks on Monday and Tuesday. As part of your employment with Encompass Care you are expected to attend both sessions. Flexibility is required as some training, such as manual handling, is only held on weekdays.
