Wake Night Support Worker- Male

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Male Wake Night Support Worker to join our team. You will provide overnight care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the night.

This role involves working flexibly on a rota, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of our service users.

Your Responsibilities

Support residents with personal care and night-time routines.
Ensure safety, security, and well-being throughout the night.
Maintain accurate records and handovers.
Respond to emergencies and follow safeguarding protocols.
Provide emotional reassurance and promote independence where possible.

What We’re Looking For:

Male applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010).
Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one).
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs (desirable – full training provided).
Reliability, compassion, and resilience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
